PRIVACY POLICY
At CTR Group we like to keep things simple, including our data privacy policy.
1. What information is being collected, how is it collected, why is it being collected and how will it be used?
In order to arrange your collections and send you collection related documents we need to collect and store a minimal record of your company details such as the address(es) where your recyclables are to be collected from and a contact name, telephone number and email address for the main person or persons with whom these collections will be arranged.
This information will be collected either via a web-form, in person (where you have met with one of our partner managers), over the phone, via an email from you or directly from a company whose products we are recycling and with whom we have a recycling partnership.
We would like to contact you on occasion about other products and services that may be of interest to you and we need your permission to do this. If when signing up to the scheme you asked us not to contact you about this (opted-out) then you’ll only ever hear from us in the normal course of business.
2. Who will your data be shared with?
Your data isn’t ours to pass around and we absolutely respect that. We may share your data with other members of the CTR Group but we will never give or sell your data to marketing companies or other third parties who may wish to sell you their own products and/or services.
We may be required to send your information to official bodies such as the Environment Agency, Information Commissioner’s Office or Police but only if there has been a very serious incident and the request is accompanied by a court order.
Where you have signed up to a corporate recycling programme we will need to share your data with the company whose products we are recycling and with whom we have a recycling partnership, so that they can validate that you are eligible to join their recycling programme.
